LLDPE/HDPE

LLDPE liners are the ideal choice for applications which require significant material flexibility, in addition to strength and durability. Our LLDPE liners have the ability to elongate under stress, allowing them to maintain their integrity under localized differential settlement conditions without puncturing, tearing, or cracking. Combined with outstanding resistance to low temperatures and ultraviolet exposure, these liners are ideal for many applications.

In addition to UV and chemical resistance, LLDPE geomembranes exhibit a high degree of flexibility. Greater flexibility provides increased conformance to subsidence and differential settlement. High puncture elongation properties make LLDPE liners ideal in applications where conformances to subgrade irregularities increase the possibility of puncture.

HDPE liners are the ideal choice for the most demanding applications. Our specially extruded liners combine high tensile strength and chemical resistance with excellent stress-crack resistance and low temperature properties for highly reliable containment. Chemically inert, these liners are the industry standard for a wide range of applications. HDPE lining systems are secure because solids and liquids do not penetrate them; gas will not escape from an HDPE cover system; and rainwater will not infiltrate an HDPE cover. HDPE is resistant to a wide range of chemicals. It is suitable for sludge and secondary containment around chemical storage facilities. HDPE’s resistance to UV exposure is further enhanced by the addition of carbon black. Additionally, with the absence of plasticizers, volatilization is not a problem.

LLDPE/HDPE Applications include: lagoon linings, canal linings, pond liners, agricultural pond liners, raw water treatment reservoirs, portable water reservoirs, retention ponds, floating covers, secondary containment for above ground storage tanks, tank linings, and waste water treatment lagoons.
